The SNMPv3 credential is typically configured automatically on the switch device by IBM? Flex System Manager management softwareversion 1.2 or later, using the default snmpadmin3 user account with SHA/DES authentication and privacy protocols, and default passwordadmin3.

Does SHA/DES is the requirement protocol to authenticate between FSM and SAN Switch?
Besides, for who have configure this one, does the switch has been automatically configured and unlocked by FSM after discovering? Because for my environment, i using IPv4 so i have to manually config this one in switch and FSM.

If you plan on using the SMIA tool then you would need to configure these protocols on the SAN switch itself as in this guide here.

Yep, it seem we have to both configure in ipv4 and ipv6. Because trap configure in SNMP in switch is ipv4 (0.0.0.0 format).

Correct the trap would be the ipv4 of the fsm.

All I want is "copy running-config startup-config"

So SWT01 and SWT02 in a stack will have the configuration saved and when I reboot the switch, no setting in SWT01 and SWT02 is lost.
