all work fine and all good

but in one day

login to CMM -> and enter correct login\password

See proccesing login and then unknow failure

i have FSM and centralized managment

to FSM i can login BUT

when i see first screen about my Chassis ALL stuck

see picture and Loading.... but webbrowser stuck\hang

go to remote console IMM FSM -> login to web -> choose my chassis -> see picture my chassis and Loading.... and STUCK\HANG again....

Yo

have storwize v7000 all look fine but

when i test my RAID10 RAD5 or RADI10Balanced
all time readm in half less than write

read 280MB write ~500MB

dont know what need to do

10) Chassis Networking / IBM and ESXI ethchannel
« on: December 15, 2014, 10:12:09 AM »
Hello

i can use NIC Teaming in ESXI for failover or balancing

i can configure ethchannel with Standart Switch? from INTERNAL interface on EN4093R and ESXI vmnic?

11) General Discussion / Re: issue port 10Gb on Switch 1Gb EN2092
« on: December 14, 2014, 02:47:11 PM »
My two cents to necro posting
1. you can verify your licenses

2 licenses need properly installed on switch

IBMBaldeNetwork(config)#show software-key
Enabled FoD Key(s):
  none

Active FoD Key(s):
  none

Non-Reusable Demo License(s):
  none

NOTE: A reboot is required to make an Enabled Key become the Active Key (when different).

2. IN ESXI on vmnic you can use 1Gb explicit
2.1 Use auto-negotiation and after installed key and reboot, ESXI must auto-negotiation 10Gb speed between vmnic and internal port

ps

for what you use failover? if you use lacp?

failover used if you implement trunk and failover to another trunk uplink cuz this uplink can't work properly together without born loop

in case where you used non stacked switch to non stacked external switch

in 1 switch used lacp to 1 ext switch ( if at least more then 1 link to ext switch )
in 2 switch used lacp to 2 ext switch ( if at least more then 1 link to ext switch )

in ESXI or Windows ( NODE ) - Using failover beetween internal port switch1 and switch 2
something like BASP for Windows or ESXI networking for virtualization

and use something like VRRP if you use non stacked switch

If I understand correctly you and your configurations

IMHO ONLY  ;) have a nice weekend all dudes

for your question for SLP this is absolutly problem with network, but when i begin configure FSM i don't know anything about IBMFlexSystem or his modules

http://mypuresupport.org/PureSystemsForum/index.php?topic=73.msg269#msg269

when i have trouble with SLP i am uninstall all system =) and start reading manuals for switch and FSM after begin install again and work properly for me now

now i know

1. configure lacp from bladenetwork and external switch, verify link aggregation work proprely
2. Create vlan on bladenetwork and external switch ( if you configure through nos, dont forget enable vlan )
3. this is critical sure vlan must be create everywhere
4. cuz i ciscoguy i use iscli
place all internal port and external port
1. in trunk
2. add all vlan ( if you have security reason, can add specify vlan, but very carefull! add native vlan 1 or create another native vlan )

for sample only
conf t
vlan 4001 - native
vlan x - for VMkernel and FSM
vlan y - vlan for DMZ
vlan z - for FileServer

interface INT1 -> ESXI
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allowed vlan 4001,x,y ( where x vlan for VMKernel and Y for Server )
switchport trunk native vlan 4001

you have security cuz disabled vlan 1, and place specific vlan in port for server and Vmkernel

interface INT2 -> ESXI
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allowed vlan 4001,x,z ( where x vlan for VMKernel and Z for Server )
switchport trunk native vlan 4001

interface INT13 -> FSM
switchport mode access
switchport access vlan x

ALL EXT interface
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allowed vlan 4001,x,z,y
switchport trunk native vlan 4001
+ configuration ethchannel

i think if you all done, you dont have problem with network

yo yo

internal interface in default use tagged mode

only what you need configure on internal interface

switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allowed vlan x,x,x,x
switchport trunk native vlan 1 ( default ) you can't see this in configuration
