No Current Data for p460 Monitors
« on: October 15, 2013, 11:29:52 AM »
Hello all,

I am trying see current CPU utilization and memory so I can create an Event Automation plan to automatically migrate my NIM server using LPM (Live Partition Mobility). I can't see any current statistics. Any hints here???

Thanks!

Hi Brands1284,

Does it have the common agent for AIX on it? You need these for deeper collection of AIX statistics.

Let me know how you make out.

We did have the agents installed on the OS, HOWEVER, it looks like we needed to manually discover the OS for the NIM server. After doing this and collecting inventory and access I am able to access the Integrated Solutions Console under AIX Management of the object (you can see this if you right click on the OS object in the FSM). This gives you a very detailed look into the LPAR as well as the ability to perform commands from the GUI like SMIT.
