Liks,

If your FSM is configured through ETH0 then it is combining the data and management traffic which actually routes through the CMM. It is not the best practice to configure it this way. I would suggest running through the network configuration again and to follow our setup steps here (http://mypuresupport.org/fsm-flex-systems-manager/

When you separate the data and management traffic you will start going through the switches in the chassis and not through the CMM to access the FSM interface.

Let us know if you have any questions!!  :D

now i dont know WHY

FSM have 2 IP addresses! 192.168.100.34 and 192.168.100.201

34 via DHCP
201 i set static when configured...

ok, i go to Administration -> NEtwork -> BUT NOW I CAN'T CONFIGURE! :(

i  configured this option early, and all work correctly.... but when i change IP interface and change ETH0 ti ETH1

Liks,

I apologize I should have been more clear. I hate saying this but you have to do a complete rebuild from either the recovery partition or by getting the 1.3.2 recovery media from IBM and then using a powered USB dvd drive to perform the rebuild  :-\ to separate data and management networks. Just make sure when you do the rebuild you follow our directions and select 'Separate networks for data and management'. This separation of data and management cannot be done once the FSM is already configured.

Please keep us updated.

Thanks!

For DVD need order 00FH545 ? canot download and Burn? for 1.3.2

and....

FSM when i buying it, have 1.1.1 version....

Important: If your recovery partition is an earlier version of the management software than the version before the recovery procedure, update the management software to the same version as before the recovery operation after you complete the Management Server Setup wizard. If you do not update the management software in this situation, the management software is older than other components in your environment, which might cause compatibility problems.

it is mean, if my version now 1.3.2 in FSM, revocery partition = 1.1.1 ?
i can't recovery?
i try this

Liks,

I feared this may be the case. In order to do the recovery you will need to order the recovery media by calling IBM support. Before you receive it make sure that you have an AC powered USB DVD drive. Doing the recovery is a good option because it also will update your recovery partition to 1.3.2 so if in the future you needed to rebuild it again your recovery partition would be at a much higher level than when you first received the FSM.

You can place an order for the recovery media by going to the following site.
https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/iwm/web/pick.do?source=swg-flrecov

For an externally powered USB dvd drive this is the one I went with and it works great.

Unfortunately the only way to recover from the base media is with the DVD drive I mentioned above.  :-[

If you are recovering from the Base Media then you wouldn't use the recovery partition since the base media reload would overwrite that partition. Boot to your DVD/CD drive and allow the CD to take care of the install.

Thanks!
